About the Relic & Process
This brass fragment was removed from a 105mm Howitzer shell fired by SSgt Gunner Kevin Moyer of Wicked Wanda. The 105mm cannon has a firing rate of 10 rounds per minute with a range of over 7 miles. Despite each round weighing 33 lbs, the gunship's highly accurate fire control system ensures munitions are placed on target with first-round accuracy.
