This Fine Art Print by Artist Craig Tinder honors the AC-130 Spectre Gunship crews serving since the Vietnam war. This Limited Edition Canvas Print includes an actual fragment of a spent brass casing from AC-130H 69-6575, otherwise known as "Wicked Wanda".
Details About the RELIC:
This brass fragment was removed from a 105mm Howitzer shell fired by SSgt Gunner Kevin Moyer of Wicked Wanda. The 105mm cannon has a firing rate of 10 rounds per minute with a range of over 7 miles. Despite each round weighing 33 lbs, the gunship's highly accurate fire control system ensures munitions are placed on target with first-round accuracy.

The Story Behind the Print:
Delivered to the U.S. Air Force in 1970, C-130E #69-6575 was inducted into the Pave Spectre program for modification into an AC-130 Spectre gunship. By 1973, she had been delivered to the 16th Special Operations Squadron, named "Wicked Wanda," and began flying missions in Southeast Asia until 1975. Wicked Wanda served with the 16th SOS, based at Hurlburt Field, Florida, during numerous missions, including the Iran Hostage situation, El Salvador, Grenada, Panama, Kuwait/Iraq, Bosnia, Somalia, and Afghanistan. Wicked Wanda's last flight occurred on 19 December 2014, and is currently on display at the Hurlburt Field Heritage Park.
