WW2 German Luftwaffe Messerschmitt Bf-109 Me-109 - Bakelite
This is a 100% ORIGINAL WW2 German Messerschmitt Bf-109 wreckage fragment - made from Bakelite. This artifact likely belongs to a cockpit electrical assembly as it was discovered alongside many 300mA components. This item was recently discovered and has NEVER been in collector's circulation.
This artifact was discovered near a known crash site in Olmonty, Poland. This Bakelite artifact would be a PERFECT item to display your other Luftwaffe collectibles.
One of the NICEST I have come across, it is in overall EXCELLENT condition, and very solid with no damage! A PERFECT item for any collection or display!
What is Bakelite? Bakelite is an early synthetic plastic developed in the early 1900s by a Belgian chemist and later refined to provide a rapidly manufactured and relatively lightweight and strong component.
Its properties made it suited for a much wider variety of purposes such as electrical connections, junction boxes, and cockpit assemblies as it does not conduct heat nor electricity.
The known details of this component's history will be shared in the included Certificate of Authenticity.
