"Lt. Brown of the famed " "Tuskegee Airmen" was one of the three members of the 332nd Fighter Group to down an Me-262 jet fighter. His P-51 Mustang (named "Bunnie" after his daughter) would serve him for 68 missions and where he would eventually be awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for his bravery and skill . P-51′s of the of the 302nd Fighter Squadron of the 332nd Fighter Group were known as "Red-Tailed Angels" by the bomber crews over Europe.
The average numbers of bombers lost by Fighter Groups of the Fifteenth Air Force was 46. Although the Tuskegee Airmen legend held they never lost a bomber, the 332nd Fighter Group only lost 25 on average. The Tuskegee Airmen battled equality rights within the U.S. Armed Forces and played a significant role towards de-segregation in the U.S. military."

He has won numerous art shows and has contributed illustrations to a variety of publications and public education displays. Over the years, Craig has amassed a large collection of artifacts, period photos, clothing, weapons, and more, all of which are used as research materials in his paintings. He is an avid collector and serious historian - combined with his artistic talents, he produces exciting and accurate renditions of history. His original and limited-edition print work can be seen in many private collections around the world.
