November 1943, Gruff, yet charismatic - Medal of Honor recipient USMC Major Gregory “Pappy” Boyington of the famed VMF-214 "Black Sheep" Squadron is depicted recounting the particulars of a recent sortie in his F4U Corsair with cohorts Frank Walton, James Reames, Chris Magee, John Bolt, Bruce Matheson, and Ed Olander.
