Men working on a hayfield in rural England are greeted by the sight of the B-17 “Shoo Shoo Baby” flying overhead. Returning from one of her many missions, this B-17 heads back to base after securing yet another victory for the Allied Forces. Signed by Artist John Young and Medal of Honor Recipient William R. “Bill” Lawley M.O.H., this fine art print acts as a great centerpiece in any WWII collection.
Interesting note: This print was published by Virginia Bader Fine Arts many years ago to help raise funds for the renovation of Shoo Shoo Baby. The plane is now at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base, fully restored - making this a rather collectible piece of B-17 memorabilia!
